Could have to do with thte photograph of the picture, but it lacks a little bit of 'pop'

I honestly like it quite a bit, but i guess that might be why it got rejected. Might be worth your while to try and brighten up the right frame if it really is as dark as it looks in this picture, or at least pop up the highlights on it a bit.

the photograph really doesn't look like the pieces. not that the pieces are great or anything... but the photograph messes with the tone and contrast... and it's blurry. for some reason i just could not get a better photo
